We just anchored in Charleston Harbor, right next to the USS Yorktown.
We had a great run in 4-6 foot beam seas. We will pass the night here then, depending on conditions head inside or out to Jacksonville.

We are heading out of Cape Fear Inlet at 1245 on a course of approximately 238 towards Charleston. We expect to arrive Charleston at approximately 23:00.

We pulled anchor about 0600 and are now heading south toward Charleston via the intra-coastal. Conditions permitting, we are going to head outside at Bogue Inlet and head south to Charleston.

We arrived in Norfolk at 18:55 and are looking for a good anchorage and maybe even a store bought meal. More to follow.

We left Ocean City at 10:00 on a course towards Norfolk of approximately 202. We are traveling approximately 9.5 knots in 2-4 foot headseas.

All is well at 0500. We've passed Cape May and are probably going into Ocean City, Maryland for fuel in a few hours. The seas are picking up a bit and it is raining but the boat is handling well.

Thursday, 2100.

Our position is 40.00N 73.17W. We enjoyed brouchettes of beef wrapped in bacon and a fresh salad for dinner thanks to Chef Ken.

The most interesting wildlife observation so far was a school of marlin (or sailfish?) Chasing the boat around 1800.

The boat is operating well and all are having a good time.

Subject: Montauk to Miami

Due to calm weather conditions and general preparedness, we left Montauk at 1445 Thursday afternoon on a course to Cape May, New Jersey. Our current plan is to arrive off of Cape May around 0300 Friday morning and head along the coast to Norfolk where we will take on fuel.
Conditions off Montauk Point are 2-4 feet and good visibility in light wind.
