Today was a long but plesant day. We were under way by 7:00. We proceeded theough the ICW and out at the St. Johns River. We then proceeded to Daytona Beach in very light 1-2 foot seas. Thanks to the autopilot, we did very little work along the way. We then headed into the ICW and proceeded until approximately 22:00, which included going through some very narrow canals and a lock well after dark.We are now about 2NM from the entrance to Canaveral. We plan to get up early tomorrow morning, head to the ocean and proceed directly to the Palm Brach Inlet to drop Roy off. I will then proceed to Key Biscayne solo.

We anchored last night at Jeckyll Island, Georgia where Ken got off to get an early flight to Miami from Jacksonville. This morning we proceeded along the ICW past Fernandina Beach to the St. Johns River. We passed through the St. Johns Inlet into the Atlantic at approximately 11:15. We are on a course towards Daytona Beach. Conditions are about as good as I have ever seen on the Atlantic -- 1-2 foot seas and wind out of the SE at approximately 10 mph. Our intention is to re-enter the ICW at Daytona and stay inside to Ft. Pierce. Eta at Daytona is 17:00.

All is fine at 1824 Monday. We are several miles off the southern tip of Sapelo Island, heading for St. Simon's Inlet. Anticipated arrival time is 2130. We then plan to cruise along the Intra-coastal and anchor for the night at Fernandina Beach.

We added fuel in Charleston this morning and proceeded south to St. Helena Sound where we reentered the Atlantic at 11:00. We are currently on a course of 225 towards Savannah. Conditions permitting, we will bypass Savannah and head towards Jacksonville where we will arrive in the middle of the night.
